Getting here
From the M5:
Exit at J27, follow the A361 toward Barnstaple, and take the Knowstone exit. Continue through Roachill to the B3227, turn right, then immediately left toward Oldways End. Follow the road through the village to the East Anstey sign, then turn toward Tarr Steps / Hawkridge. After 1.5 miles, look for East Liscombe Farm / Anstey Mills Cottages on the left then follow the lane down.
From Dulverton:
Cross the river by the Bridge Inn, then turn right uphill toward Hawkridge. Take the second right, continue to the T-junction, and turn left. At Five Cross Ways, turn left toward East Anstey. Pass the large stone-walled house (Chiltons), then turn right at the East Liscombe Farm / Anstey Mills Cottages sign and follow the lane over the cattle grid.
Please note we are at the end of a single track lane. It can be bumpy so please drive with care!
